The Effect of Temperature and Water Stresses on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

Temperature and moisture are essential factors in germination seedling growth. The purpose of this research was to assess the growth wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seeds under various abiotic stressors. It conducted Agronomy Institute Hungarian University Agriculture Life Sciences, Gödöllő, Hungary. Six distinct temperature levels were used: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 °C. Stresses drought waterlogging quantified using 25 water based on single-milliliter intervals as a percentage thousand kernel weight (TKW). Seedling density also tested. significantly influenced duration development. 20 °C ideal with optimal range 15 less than Germination occurred at amount 75% TKW, its lower narrower for Seed size provided an objective basis defining requirements. current study established supply 525–825 percent TKW. Fifteen within 9 cm Petri dish may be preferred denser populations.
